Today, Mr Koh told me that my visa for Korea has been approved! YEAH! Now I can countdown to my Korean trip without any worries! I know the name of my Korean buddy. Her name's Jeong U-Young while Jieying's is So A-Young. I don't know if this is a coincedence but I find their names cute, even though they're both really familiar. By the way, I've actually started writing on a diary. Haha, I find it quite lame but at least I got easy access to it... Anyway, today was our trial run for the games for fun camp. Hmmm, I should start packing for fun camp too so that tomorrow I'll be free. I think the trial run was ok and I'm glad that we had it. That way, we won't mess up (so badly) for the games. Sigh. Today, we also got back our report books. I've actually gained two positions higher in class compared to my class position at the middle of the year but I don't think it's something to be proud about. BLEEEEHHHH. Must buck up for a-math, dammit. Okay, I'm gonna go shower now. I'm hoping I can sleep by 10.30... ADIEU! SIX MORE DAYS TO KOREA! Gosh, I've never been this excited about a trip before. It's probably because I'll be going with my friends and that the itinerary looks bloody awesome! I'm so gonna wear a hanbok and take a photo as proof! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed about the visa. The agency said that I should hear from the embassy by tomorrow or Thursday. I shall leave it to God's hands. Anyway, we're getting even nearer to fun camp. Huiting was been stressing out a lot, I know. Hang in there, dude! Tomorrow we're gonna have a dry run of the outing. Not gonna spill where it is, though I really don't think any of my GB juniors know my blog. Oh yeah, I'm now head of Logistics for GB! Haha, I've never been "head" of anything before! :P Okay, gonna go to sleep now. It's rare that I can actually sleep this early. If you call 11pm early.

Well hello, my fellow netizens.Nadine has successfully finished her exams! Okay, so I finished them some time ago but I only felt like blogging about it right now. I saw my overall results yesterday and my GFA pulled my SA2 test results for most subjects, especially Chemistry, Physics and A-math. So now that school's officially ending, it's both a happy and sad occasion. Happy, because we wouldn't get homework everyday, relax our brains a bit and best of all, the Korean and Cambodian trip! But it's also sad because it marks the end of the school year, which means I'll be sec 4 (16 years old!) next year! I suddenly feel like I'm gonna shoot up in maturity soon. Like, I'm gonna be forced to grow up a lot. And O levels! I shiver just thinking about it. What will happen to my results! :o I can't even pass A-math. By the way, GB fun camp is coming soon. Hopefully, the committee members and I will be done with everything by Wednesday next week. I feel really weird, being in the Recreation committee, for both GB and in the fun camp. I don't really think of myself as a fun person :P The recrea committee members (me, Dorin, Yanfen and Jieying) have been worked to the bone for the first few weeks of camp preparation and since we've finished all our proposals, we're a bit more relaxed compared to other committees. Anyway, for all the other committees, hang in there! I know troubles may arise, but there's always a compromise. The recrea committee has been racking their brains out just to think of programmes and games and we've been opposed left, right and center but we managed to compromise with everyone :) So, ganbatte ~ For Cambodia, we've been starting work as well. Presentations here and there and collection of donations. I hope we can collect a whole bunch of stuff so that we'll be a big help to the kids there. Hopefully, the trip will also teach me to be a more charitable person. Hehe. My group presented today! Did you all hear us? :D I'm the leader, for some unknown reason. Hmmmm. Not to sound proud or anything but I'm happy that I can lead. The Values Venture, Recrea stuff (though this is more self-proclaimed :P I just do a lot of stuff for recrea but we do "lead" when we're the game masters) and now Cambodia too. I hope this will make me less of a"blend-in-the-wall" pushover. Haha... I've been writing a lot for this one post, haven't I? Maybe this is a product of not blogging for a long time. I've been thinking of buying a diary to write on, since a notebook is more accessible (and portable) than a computer but I dunno. I think I'm lazier to write than to type. I did tell myself to buy a diary to record down my days in Korea and Cambodia. Speaking of Korea, my visa has still not been approved +_+. Not that it's on the process of denial or something but somehow, the travel agency keeps asking for more documents in drips and drags. I'm sorta pissed off but my worry is overpowering my "anger". I searched the net and they said that processing the visa takes about 3-5 days. Since I'm still about 9 days away from the trip, I'm kinda safe, right? RIGHT?! Today there was an emergency regarding this and I really, really thank God that my dad was at home, so he immediately went to the bank to get the document and went to the agency to pass it himself. OOH, I FEEL RELIEVED. The agency said that it was absolutely the last document the Korean embassy needs so now... FINGERS CROSSED! Waaaah, THANK YOU GOD. THANK YOU DAD. FINGERS CROSSED!!! Doom: Next week.
Ahh, it's the end of the week!Okay, done with more than half the examinations. But the real impending doom starts next week with physics, a-math, e-math paper 2 and bio! See? IMPENDING DOOM!! I don't even know what impending means. Anyway, I'm just gonna try my luck for a-math. I don't think there's any hope of me magically getting a A1 for a-math. Physics too. I'm aiming for at least a pass though. This afternoon, after the history paper, went out to cafe cartel with Yong, Manju, Huiting, Sharon and Amariah. I LOVE YOU GIRLS. I'm actually kinda relieved that I'm not alone in the whole "anti-*&$%#@!*@" issue. I thought I was the only one. Haha... Last.
Yep, done with my MS paper. Two more weeks till the exam is over! Though, I'm not studying as much as I ought to. Gah.The media studies paper was alright. I think I really do need the interest to do well. If only the same will apply for A-math >_<" Today's my brother's birthday so I wasn't able to study today. Also, I'm really tired, after the MS exams and also from losing a lot of sleep from all the other days. What exactly have I been doing these past few nights to make me lose sleep? I don't know, all I know is that on Wednesday and Thursday I had my editing till 6pm so that caused me to be tired too. Then on average I stayed up till about 11.30 to revise though I don't think anything went to my thick head. So basically, I've been losing sleep with no excuses like "at least I already revised x chapters of physics!" Bleh. Life's hard. I'm going to do my critical review right now. Honestly, my final video wasn't as good as I expected it to be. It's not my actors' fault though, they did an awesome job and their acting was superb. It was mostly my fault, with the lighting, panning and whatever. So yeah, it was really my fault. Frankly speaking, I think I have enough confidence to say that I won't fail the video project, though this speaks volumes about my so-called talent in video. I still have to tighten many loose screws, if you get my metaphor. Tomorrow, hopefully I'll get my storyboard done and then after that get on to the revision. I really need the fact that this SA2 is the last lap for this year and I just have to go ahead and give it my all. So yeah, this is it. The last lap for 2009. |
