I'll skip all the rest (sorry Huiting!) because I'm currently doing research for some d&t homework thingy and I'm kind of busy now. :P

And we're back on track!
Like, whoa. This is my 198th post.

And I'm wasting it on the the topic of : "Nadine's first day back in school ; After the June Holidays".

Lame.

Anyway, it wasn't actually as weird as it should've been. For me, at least. I was probably too bored anyway and school might relieve some of that boredom, right?

OhMyGod, what's taken over me?!

Anyway. Enough with the drama for now. I'll get back on topic.

Well, lo and behold! Miss Debbie Wong will be gracing us with her presence for every English lesson we have for these two terms! She was kinda funny, so I don't really mind. For today, she made us do this activity where we had to choose something from our bags and use that to describe ourselves. So, I searched inside my bag and the only thing that wasn't a book in it was my pouch, which had my iPod in it. When it was my turn, Ms Wong actually went through my collection! My photos and music! And yeah, I deleted all my videos so she didn't find anything there.

The embarrassing part was that she named some of the artists on my song list. One of them was Paris Hilton. Okay, so she might be a total bimbo but I like her "Nothing in This World" song. And okay, I might be arrogant enough to think of myself as too much of a mature, smart young woman to even listen to artists (if you consider her one) like Paris Hilton. But ah, I just laughed about it later. And yeah, she announced to the whole class that I listened to Snoop Dogg. Okay, so the song was a duet with Mariah Carey. Still, it was kind of funny. In an embarrassing, twisted kind of way.

The new Geography teacher is... uhm. No comment. Let's see how she handles our class. I'd like to see.

Is it me or does that sound sadistic?

These two terms, we'll be seeing Mark Chua every week for music again. Sigh. Next year, we'll be seeing him more often for PE lessons. If only I could have those drama lessons again. They were cool.

So, these are my new adventures for school. Yay.

*_____*

And so it ends.
I actually made an LJ account, and I have no idea what to do with it. I even made it all pretty and whatnot. Maybe I'll do all the blog-bashing there while this blog will be purely PG-13. Hehehe.

And no, I'm not sharing my LJ with anyone. For now.

I even put up a fake name. HARHAR.

Anyway, today is the last day of our school break. OMG! Wasn't it just yesterday we were released from the gates of hell?!

Okay, that was total exaggeration but my brain isn't ready to be filled with educational stuff once again. Or maybe I'm just being a lazy ass (which I usually am).

I'm done with e-learning, science worksheet, and now all I have left is that maths homework then I can pack my bag and be all ready for school tomorrow.

Oh joy.

Hopefully I'm not the only one dreading going back. Gee, I'll miss all the days I can wake up at 9 and just listen to music all day long.

Pointless drabble here. Move along...

Class S-P-I-R-I-T!?
I fell asleep from exhaustion last night after I came back from the class chalet so I'm only blogging about it now.

First things first, the place was nice. It was much bigger than all the other chalets I've been in (or lack thereof.) The games were a bit lame but it was planned by the guys so yeah, I expected it to be lame. During the barbecue I tried to help but then people were like, "Careful! You might burn your contacts," or something like that. And stupid David still doesn't know my name? Stupid.

The food was ok. It's just that stupid Nicholas Lim kept asking for more and more food every 3 seconds. Hm, whose idea was it to invite him again? Oh yeah, it's a class chalet. But I do remember that wegavehimsomeuncookedfood. Hahaha!

After that, the splashing began!

First, Amariah was pushed to the pool (but it was during the afternoon, and she gave us a scare when she threw her pouch, which had her handphone, to the water. I think she was planning to throw it to one of us who were dry but missed...), then during the evening, Dorin was pushed. Then came Denise. Then they tried to push me but then I was screaming (whatever was left of my voice, since I had a dry cough) that my handphone was in my pocket. When I put down my phone and went back near the pool, Yong and Huiting were already in the water. Then I was just standing near the edge (I knew I was going to be pushed so might as well give them the chance) and ta-da! I was pushed.

And I didn't even care if I had contacts on or whether I couldn't swim and whether they pushed me off the side of the pool which was 1.6m deep, when I am shorter than that.

But however, all these things were true and by the time my head reached the surface, I was already chocking on water.

Heh, nevermind about that. But man, I still couldn't swim! Haha.

So I was just basically tiptoing on water, following the rest. Haha, at least I got in the water.

Then after that, I showered, changed out and went home with Amariah. At first I just asked them to drop me off at Pasir Ris MRT but they took me straight home because it was late.

Imagine... Pasir Ris MRT -> Stop at Outram Park then change MRT line -> Potong Pasir. It might have taken an hour or so...

Thanks Amariah and parents! Hopefully their car wasn't wet because of me.

:D

And today is June 20! And this is gonna make me sound crazy and obsessed (which I already am so...)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EDWARD CULLEN! YOU'RE A 107 (i think) TODAY!

Sweet Addiction.
My newest guilty pleasure :

Man, I love this show! I like it better than American Idol. Hehe. The new season is starting now and there was a lot of great new dancers. There were some past contestants who brought along their siblings and they were awesome at dancing. Tough competition this year, no doubt. :D

Was in another downloading spree last night. No wonder my eyebags look more tired than ever today. Sigh. Anyways, check out these bands : The Spill Canvas, Coldplay, Muse, Dashboard Confessional, Marjorie Fair, The Kooks and OK Go. They're great, especially Muse and The Spill Canvas. Most of Coldplay's songs are kinda slow but they're still nice. My iPod is full of songs from the alternative rock genre now. Not much pop for me nowadays.

Well, I now realize that I look horrible after camp. My skin has become red and dark that it looks tired and worn out even if I feel fine. Especially against my dry-looking hair. Ew. I look totally haggard. What's worse is that I have this horrible dry cough and my throat feels like it's burning. I'm running to the sink every few minutes now. And my voice sounds weird.

Hopefully I'll get better two days from now. Class Chalet! YAY!

I can already predict that Manju will try something evil...

Back. Yay.
Back from ATC! Yay, we survived!

It wasn't as tough as last year, actually. I guess last year was bad because we just kept running and pumping whenever we were punished. But the punishment this year wasn't physical but yeah, we still didn't like the punishments this year. They had to close shower stalls as the punishment. x_x

On the first day, there was this really funny game we played at night. It was called "Reality" and we were given graduate positions, like O level graduate, A level, or degrees. And then there were three stations we can make money out of and there was a gambling den. The cleaning up station, the talent station and the physical training station. The cleaning station was the stupidest, okay! Ms Ng made us clean the toilet with our bare hands! To make it worse, she splashed like, soy sauce, flour, eggs and everything on the floor! LOL.

Second day was fun too. But it was probably the worst. There was changing parade, getting lost around Singapore and a fire drill in the middle of the night. What's worse it that they closed the shutters around the school and we blindly ran all around the school. But then when we came back to the concourse for the second time, Jieying just suddenly opened one of the shutters (it wasn't even locked!) and we all ran our lungs out to the front of the office (where we were supposed to assemble.) The highlight was also kinda fun, I mean, we were supposed to make this video about us interviewing people what the most famous food at the hawker we were assigned to. Then we had to make it all funny and interesting.

Third day, was great. We played caterpillar soccer! So we had to split ourselves and form "caterpillars" and play "soccer" (with our hands.) There was one time my group played against Jieying's group and Felicia and Jieying were so funny...

E-night was extremely touching. It made me cryyyyyyy. T_T Seriously, it made me cry.

Soooo, ATC wasn't bad, I guess. And we were all very guai so there wasn't a lot of punishments.

Yay 28th coy! :D

atc.
Okay, I just freaked out a few minutes ago because I couldn't find my inflatable pillow and I was cursing all over the house while finding for it, thinking that I wouldn't be able to sleep during four days of camp without it, since, the ground is hard.

Okay, so I just found the damn pillow. Good.

And now I don't have a freakin' torchlight. Not that it was even in the checklist... Ahh, who cares. I won't bring it, then.

Sooo, tomorrow is ATC. I haven't even finished packing yet I'm here on the computer. Am I the only freak here who isn't at all bothered by ATC anymore? Sigh. Maybe because I know they'll just try to make us run around, do push-ups and all that stuff. Mild torture. Sigh.

Well, I'm mostly done with the packing. All that's left are stuff like canned food and rags and stuff.

So, I guess you won't hear from me again till Sunday. Not that anyone would want to hear me blabbering about lame stuff or whatever.

Sigh. ATC.

Adios.

ZOMG.
Had fun with Dorna yesterday, even if it was raining like crazy and my shoes got wet and even if I just couldn't keep up with her walking because my feet hurt. Hah.

I've noticed that for every single occasion where I meet up with somebody, I'm either completely early or too late. Gosh, that would suck if I'm going to work someday.

And Dorna's got me hooked on frappucinos. Starbucks frappucinos.

>_<

We just walked around Orchard and just well, gone in and out of stores that we thought had nice stuff. But when we went out of Takashimaya to go to Wheelock's Place, guess what we found at Borders there?

ECLIPSE SPECIAL EDITION, $36.95

ZOMG.

Kinokuniya told us that it wouldn't be available until 3-4 weeks time! And that it would probably cost 40 or more bucks!

They're such rip-offs!

Now I've got Eclipse, a preview of Breaking Dawn, two totally awesome t-shirt transfers that says "TEAM EDWARD" and "TEAM JACOB" (er, I'm in team Edward, obviously) and a poster of the Breaking Dawn cover art with a totally awesome quote from Breaking Dawn that made me squeal and go "OMG!" every few seconds!

Squeal, OMG, squeal!!

And yeah, this is what Dorna did when we ripped off the plastic covering after I bought the book. Clearly I have an excellent poker face.

Anyway! ATC is around the corner. I already bought one pack of chicken noodles (with 5 packets inside) and six cans of canned food. Extra toothpaste for cleaning my mess tin (I have actually no idea how to spell it but it's pronounced this way) and a travel toothbrush. Hmm, six cans of canned food.

Too much?

Seok Yin just smsed me yesterday. She's my group leader! Yay! Felicia, Venus, Lisa and Gracia are in our group too! Yay! And I'm the assistant group leader.

=___________=

Er, what?

Weird, I thought Felicia would be better suited for this role.

Anyways, camps always make me paranoid. What if I don't bring enough? Maybe I should buy extras. What if someone forgets to bring this? Hmm, maybe I should bring some more if someone does forget. See what I mean?

And in the end, I always have a horrible back ache after carrying so much.

>_<

Singfest
There's this really big concert on August 2 & 3 called Singfest. Damn, it's 200 bucks. And guess what. One Republic is performing!

Gaaaah. I want to see them live. BADLY!

So, my holidays are still boring. Thank God I'm finally leaving the house tomorrow, going to Orchard with Dorna. I was planning to go to Kinokuniya to buy Eclipse: Special Edition but I just called the bookstore and they said it's not coming out till mid-June. Which means I still have to wait for a few more days.

Sigh.

Argh, nevermind about that. Patience is a virtue.

But I'm kinda scared that this exact situation might happen with Breaking Dawn too. If it did, I would...

x_X

Anyways, I watched this Rent this morning. It was nice. Rent is this rock musical about impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's Lower East Side in the thriving days of the Bohemian East Village, under the shadow of AIDS. (source:wikipedia)

I love Seasons of Love (the song).

So yeah, I like musicals. A lot. Except maybe High School Musical, not that much. Because it just seemed so predictable and erm, kiddy. A bit.

One day I'll go to New York and watch a Broadway show. Hopefully :D

Contrary to popular belief (coughYongcough), I'm not rotting away 24 hours at my house. Please, who would? I've been forced to tutor my brother in the afternoons, and since our parents don't come home till night, there's no one to take care of him. So, this is pretty much the reason why I can't go out a lot. =_________________="

Well, I bet most of you are having a nicer time than little ol' me. Yong's in Australia while Amariah's in Malaysia.

Heh, I think I'm forever stuck here or something. Shudder.

At least I have some things to occupy my time.

Btw, Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson PWNS. Can't wait for December :D

P.S.: Twilight (movie) will be released in Singapore on December 25, not December 12. It's been confirmed.

Speaking of Twilight, Breaking Dawn (the fourth book) will be released this August 2 (as you can see by the countdown below, hah!). Apparently, August 1 is the date of a very rare total solar eclipse, followed by a twilight (duh), and a night with a new moon. 12:01 am that very same night, Breaking dawn will be released.

Cool, all the Twilight saga's cover names are there! Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn!

Awesome.

Sucky Reality.
Do you ever have that habit that when you're utterly bored and you're sitting in front of a computer you just start a downloading spree?

Er, yeah, that's what I'm doing now. Gee, that's pathetic.

So how's the holidays people? Mine is just absolutely splendid. Hours and hours of doing nothing.

Isn't that nice?

Sarcasm seems like a very appropriate thing now, so in case you haven't noticed, I'm using it now.

GAAAAH.

This post is gonna be full of insane gibberish.
