WHAT I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH THIS JUNE:

1. Finish watching Lovely Complex (this annoyingly addictive show that Yong recommended. FREAKIN' HILARIOUS.)

2. Finish watching Boys Before Flowers (Dammit, the hype got to me.)

3. Watch more films. (Breakfast at Tiffany's, anyone?)

4. Finish watching Gossip Girl (unfortunately, Manju's already spoiled it for me)

5. Level, level, level up for GE!

Okay, lame goals. So the purpose of this post is the remind myself of what unproductive stuff I want to do this June. Very... unproductive, ne? Watch more anime, read more manga, watch more movies, TV shows and then play computer games. Haha.

By the way, changed my phone number. It's not the 816***** anymore.

So my dad's in Adelaide now. He's currently experiencing culture shock because so far, the tallest building he saw so far is only 12 stories high. Oh well, I at least warned him that Adelaide has this "small town" feeling about it. Maybe it's good though. Sick and tired of being stressed out.

And how great is it that Kris Allen won American Idol?! Haha, I like him. He has that boy-next-door look but his voice can sing a lot of different genres. I loved it when he sang HEARTLESS. Adam's not so bad but too much of him and I'll become emo. Seriously.

And speaking of more music, I'm addicted to the Arctic Monkeys. They're bloody awesome. Their songs plus their accents. Hah, I'm a sucker for British accents, preferably Yorkshire.

Hear that, hear that? It's the accent~!

Oh, and check out their other songs. Bloody awesome.

COMMAND AND CONQUER!!

Justin (Scout), Elyon (Elementalist) and Nadeshiko (Fighter) of the Van Alen Family of Bach :D

I know I should be studying Chem/E-math right now but I just couldn't resist. I've started playing Granado Espada again! After about one year I just suddenly missed my characters. Psycho, huh? Me missing characters made of computer graphics.

Once I finished downloading, everything was so bloody different. For one thing, the old servers aren't there anymore. I was wondering why there wasn't any Caravaggio server (my old one) then I just blindly clicked the first server which was Bach. Thankfully my characters and equipment are still there :D But then I saw all the the new characters available and started getting envious. Haha... Too bad that I need to be of amazingly high level to get the new characters. Well, most of them anyway.

My Wizard, Tsukihime (which means Moon Princess in Jap, how sappy is that? :P) and my twin summoners, Freya and Evangeline (I think the one with the silver wings is Freya.)

This is one of the things I love about GE. If you ever played an MMORPG, there are characters that give quests. But in GE, you can recruit most them after you've finished all their quests. The original name of the NPC of my summoners is Catherine. Apparently, she died but her dad is a mad scientist who wants to revive her. (He's actually kinda cool. He has this mansion with robot servants that are the "monsters" in that area). But after you get all her "body parts" you can choose which Catherine you want to "build", a fighter, musketeer (guns & rifles), magic specialist Catherine or the summoner, sort of like a puppeteer who can summon little dolls that can attack. Guess who the dolls are? The servants! Haha. So she's a walking army and she's so awesome that I bought another summoner. Haha.

But the best thing in GE is the costumes! You can already see my fighter, elementalist and wizard wearing different costumes, and my wiz is wearing a different "wig" too. The costumes are awesome. But I love the fact that you can control 3 characters at once. I haven't played any other MMORPG before but using only one character seems troublesome. I can't imagine spamming health potions every 2 seconds. GE has scouts for that!

I hope I can get my stock characters to level 100 by this year. My highest (Scout) is currently level 86. And my musketeer too. Must level both of them up! (Yeah, I have two. Both male and female. Couldn't resist.)

And Zhu Ning wants to start playing GE too (once I give him the disc)! Info on the different classes of stock characters are here: http://ge.iahgames.com/Site/Content.aspx?Id=19

Just a tip, you'll need a main team of three characters. A scout is essential, cos you'll need him to heal. The remaining two characters should NOT be a fighter and a musketeer together (I learned this the hard way). Fighters and musketeers cannot carry out AOE skills (attacks that can kill a large number of monsters at one go within a large area). Only wizards and elementalists can do that. The number of characters you can keep will increase as you go but the space is limited. You might want to keep it for other classes or for those non-playable characters that you can recruit. But they have the same skills as the stock characters but there are a few that are completely different (Catherine) or they're hybrids. There's one that's a wizard which can heal.

Oh and remember to sign up at Bach server! I can help you level up if I feel like it :P

I feel so awesome passing down knowledge to someone else. Even if it's just a computer game. Haha...

Fuck You.
I SCREWED UP MY A-MATH AND PHYSICS PAPER.

ahhhhhhhh.

You know it's so easy to say "Aah, I'm gonna fail" but seeing your actual results with a number lower than the passing mark... it's just, gut-wrenching. Okay, so maybe I haven't seen my paper yet. But still.

I am not a competitive, studious bookworm. Hell, I don't even think I'm hardworking enough. But somehow I managed to get by better than I expected. I don't know if that's going to be the case for A-math though. I just saw my GFA results and I like, passed by what, 8 and a half marks? That's freaking sad.

I honestly have no clue whether I'll pass the A-math test paper. Part of me says that no, you'll fail because you didn't work hard enough and there's that other part that says maybe you'll pass because honestly, you tried.

Yeah, I did try. That was the best I could've done in such a limited time, wasn't it?

And I keep saying that no one needs math in whatever career I would decide to take. Still, the idea of failing?

Beware of emo Nadine for the next couple of weeks.

Oh damn.
Dorna, I love you so much.

Like, freakin' much. A part of me will die when I move to Australia.

I love it when we go to Orchard and spend hours there, but most of the time, we're at Starbucks, Kinokuniya or Borders!
I love it when you obsess with me. Juicy Couture, Chanel or Twilight, name them all!
I love it when you keep complaining to me about math too (Why would doctors need math anyway? I agree.)
I love it that you always sms me, it really, really makes my day.
I love it when you support me with all my dreams and ambitions, no matter how farfetched they might seem, you don't try to make fun of the mood or whatever.
And I really, really love the fact that I can relate to you with absolutely anything under the sun.

Thanks for putting up with all my crap talks of how much math sucks and how unnecessary it is for film school.
Thanks for putting up with all my little obsessions, whether they're Chuck Taylors, Chanel, Louboutin heels or Kristen Stewart.
Thanks for always giving me something to talk about, and for always participating in whatever I talk about, no matter how stupid or pitiful they might be.
Thanks for always being there, whether we're two MRT stations apart or even when I'm all the way in the Philippines.

Dude, you're like the yin to my yang. You might be loud sometimes (but that's a compliment for you) and I might be a little quiet but we still love each other no matter what. You give me balance, and keep me from being a quiet, safe, nerd.

You said that I always steer you in the right direction whenever life gets off course. Well, you do that for me too. There's already been too many times that I called you or SMSed you about something that's annoyed or angered me. But we never fail to say to each other that "we'll always have each other, no matter what other people might do". And yeah, that's a sentence that I'll definitely treasure for the rest of my life, no matter where the two of us are.

I don't forget people that I treasure. I still keep in contact with my absolute best friends back in pre-school (okay, well knowing them all the way till third grade helped) and I'm sure that we won't lose touch, that's what e-mail and sites like Facebook are for, right?! Right :D

And Gomez really is coming here, is he? Why hasn't he been online in ages?

Oh, and you're family always goes for holidays so I'm sure that you'll have a chance to visit me in Adelaide. You haven't been there anyway, so that's the perfect excuse to give to your parents, isn't it? Haha.

DORNA, YOU ROCK. You didn't let absence get in the way of our friendship. I don't talk or manage to get into contact with most of our primary schoolmates but you were the one that pulled through, and that really makes you special among all of them.

I'm pretty sure that if absence didn't get in the way now, it won't get in the way for the next what, 10, 20, 100 years? :)

P.S.: That Dylan lives in Sydney, doesn't he? That's far from Adelaide! :P

OMG, THE BIG 3-0-0
Can you believe that this is my 300th post?!? OMG, AWESOME.

You know, I was contemplating whether to revive my LiveJournal. But I was thinking of leaving it alone because it looked pretty. Haha. It's all purple and grey, two amazing colors that I love together. Hm, maybe I should make my blogskin like that. I'll see first. Or maybe I'll just start another LJ when I move to Aussieland.

DAMN, I feel like it's not happening at all. Me moving, I mean. It's sooo... I don't know, surreal. I know I'm not a newbie when it comes to moving but I've only moved to Asian countries. Actually, when I was in the Philippines, I never stayed in the same house for more than a couple of years. Gosh, I wonder why I'm such a constant mover. Anyways, my dad's trip to Philippines is tonight. He says he's gonna renew his driving license there and on the 23rd, he's going to Australia. Man, I'm not gonna see him in person for quite a while.

Anyway, like I said earlier, I'm not really that conscious yet that I'm moving. It's like one of those experiences where you think it's happening to someone else. Everything's still seems normal.

Oh and this is for Joanne, in case she reads this:

I read your blog (although it was really hard to read because the whole paragraph was cramped up in like, 1cm-wide space). You know, I was really surprised to see how I got to know you better. I don't know if it's the same for you, whether you know more about me or something but yeah, I was really surprised to see our friendship grow (that sounded cheesy for some reason) and to see that I've been enjoying myself a lot with you during classes. We've made each other laugh a lot (especially when you come up with a brilliant/stupid idea, I say something sarcastic or dimwitted then we just laugh... Remember about your Mother Teresa mum? LOL.), helped each other a lot and made me appreciate bread more :P

We came from totally different backgrounds, especially with the people we hang out with but I'm touched that you cared enough about me when I told you I was moving to Australia (yeah dude, you totally hit me. Actually, you still hit me whenever I mention it). You're a good listener too! Sooooo, thanks John!! I'll freaking miss you so much...

(The name thing was on purpose)

Btw, I've been so ignorant for the past 15 years of my life that I just found out that Singapore has an actual film school.

THE TISCH ASIA CAMPUS IS HERE IN SINGAPORE! OMG.

TISCH IS THE ORGANIZATION THAT IS IN CHARGE OF FILM STUDIES IN NEW YORK UNIVERSITY (MY DREAM SCHOOL)!

I only knew today, leh! Waaaah.

Might as well bring Spartans to crush me.
Done with two exams, eight more to go.

Media studies written paper was fine, although the fill in the blanks section (which was worth 10 marks) totally butchered me and my classmates. Okay, we haven't seen our paper yet but when we all came out of the exam hall, all that we could think about was that the FIB section was hard. Super hard. The analysis part was fine though. I just wrote down whatever I could find or point out. We had to analyze a print advertisement of Garnier Aqua Defense by the way.

It was something like this, but different in lay-out. But the model and everything else is the same, except maybe for the text used.

Well, we had our practical MS exam just this afternoon and everyone screwed up one way or another, except for Zhu Ning. Our MS teachers all suggested that we should be more like Zhu Ning, he just walked in there calmly and did everything calmly. Haha, Miss Tess blamed our anxiety for our screwing up! Haha. But the good thing is that she said no one failed the written paper. Which is like, 80 marks. And I haven't been failing my MS homework or something so maybe I can still pass. :D

So tomorrow's the day for the English paper. Then more papers will just be coming and coming. I've been trying to practice my A-maths but I really don't think I'll do well for the actual paper. I already told my mom that she shouldn't be so surprised if I fail. =____________= A-math is crap anyway. At least, I believe so. My future career will have nothing to do with maths, that's for sure.

But today was so great though. Laughed so freakin' much cos of my MS classmates. After our practical, most of us stayed back and just started talking. We all figured out about Benedict's sadistic ways. He always kills Caifang in his essays, but before that, she has to fall in love with this god-like man who just appears out of nowhere. Oh, and he's the king of plagiarism (not in a good way!) Meh, at least we all got to laugh even though we messed up a little :D

Oh, and June holidays are coming! I have a chance to catch up with all my Gossip Girl episodes, yeah!
