Monday Blues.
My fever's already gone!

YYYYAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY~~~~!

I don't need to take that stupid medicine anymore...

Re-cap :

Saturday ~

Went for GB CIP. Like I said, we were asking for donations from all these people in Toa Payoh wearing our full uniform. It wasn't exactly the best thing ever, because when I asked some people to donate, they just turned their head to the other direction, ignored my existence and kept on walking. Still, a fair number of people donated. I just didn't like the fact that other schools, including those who aren't even in GB, were also doing CIP, so there was kind of too much competition.

Sunday ~

My freakin' computer re-booted by itself. I have no idea how or why. My files were ALL deleted, but thank God I backed them up in my MP3 player.

Monday (Today) ~

Rotting away in boredom...

SCREAM ... IT'S HEALTHY.
Wednesday Night Temperature - 39.8
Thursday Night Temperature - 40.8

Yes, that's right. I'm having HIGH fever again, dammit.

We have Holiday Homework for Literature AND English.

And let's see, I missed the Debate Clinic, the PFT 5-items re-test AND the last day of school.

And to make everything much, much a THOUSAND times worse, there's no Bleach Episode this week. I have to wait until NEXT WEEK.

Life sucks sometimes.

Don't you wish sometimes that you can rewind your life sometimes? I'm sure everyone had that thought before.

Wait, let's talk about the last few days.

Wednesday -:
We didn't have LSA, and we had to stay in Marican's homeroom for the WHOLE day. Except for PE, but I so prefer moving from classroom to classroom. PE was ... interesting. We had to do 2 kinds of balances but we were allowed to choose between 1/2/3 or 4-point balances. I choose 1-point and 3-point. Mr Tan gave me a 7 out of 10 score. HAHA. Hui Ting's balance poses were AMAZING. But I guess that's nothing surprising from her, since she's been in Chinese dance for so long in her Primary School. We got our report cards! I did fine, but I really, really wish I could improve my History and English. Anyways, there's been a rumour going on that Mrs Amy Chan would most likely be our English teacher next semester. The rest of the class are kinda scared because last time, she visited our Geography class and she just so happens to catch us making a LOT of noise. Then of course she was mad... People say she's strict. But strict CAN be good! At least strict teachers can keep my attention during class... and maybe I can finally learn something during English!!! But come on! If you don't make her angry, she won't be strict, she won't punish us. It's common sense. I mean, she just can't be angry at you if you did NOTHING wrong.

Thursday -:

We had 3 periods of D & T. It was somewhat uneventful because we weren't doing anything important. At night, I went to the clinic and the doctor gave this extremely horrible and bitter medicine for my fever. This is why I really really hate being sick.

Friday -:

I didn't come to school today and I'm missing my friends badly... Sigh. But fortunately, I feel so much better now. My headache's gone and my skin feels cooler. Hopefully, I can come to tomorrow's GB flag day. We'll be carrying those cans around Toa Payoh Interchange and ask people to donate. From 8 to 5 in full uniform. But I'm not complaining, because I'm doing something good for charity! Haha... And have I mentioned that today's the last day of school? The June holidays are here!!! Although... there's quite a lot of holiday homework.

Gee, I've got nothing more to say. So I guess I'll stop here.

Bye-bye...

Goodbye Old World. Hello New World.
Today is officially Ms Kiew's last day with 1-Truth.

Waaaaah. We are really going to miss her!

Today there wasn't any formal Geography lesson, we were shouting and playing, as usual. Actually, we did the exact same thing for History. Some of the boys were idiotically shouting at the top of their voices, which made Ms Chye punish us.

SHE MADE US DO A 300-WORD ESSAY ON WHY SHOUTING IS GOOD AND WHY WE SHOULD DO IT. WORST OF ALL, SHE MADE US DO IT STANDING UP WITH OUR BAGS ON OUR BACKS. AND WE HAD TO PASS IT UP AFTER 30 MINUTES.

THANKS MS CHYE. THANKS A WHOLE LOT. OH AND THANKS A LOT TOO, I-TRUTH BOYS.

People who were walking along the corridor were already making fun of us.

Gee, thanks a whole lot.

I finished on time, wrote more than 300 words and filled it with crap. Yay me. When you're desperate, you'll just do stupid things. And the stupid thing I did was write a 300-word essay full of crap.

Hah, it sucks when you suffer the consequences at something you didn't do.

Anyways... Things got a whole lot better when we came to Geography class. It's just that, after a while of loud chattering, Ms Debbie Wong came into our classroom and the whole class immediately shut up. She's very intimidating. Like the time when she confiscated Hui Ting's arm bands.

She can be kind of scary, like when she smiles when she tries to punish you...? Or make you do the 'responsible' things like picking up trash. Actually, I don't think I've ever seen her not smile. Although I did see her cry once. Only once.

Lalala Lelele...
I am now at the Computer Lab of my school for Music Lessons.

It's just that, Ms Oon allowed us to do whatever we want because it's the last week of the Semester and she wanted it to be a 'fun' class for us. So, I'm here writing on my blog.

Before Music, we were at Mr Marican's homeroom. He told us our English and MT marks.

There were some failures.

Me...? Well, I am not happy with my results, even though I didn't fail.

I got B3.

I know I should be grateful that I didn't fail English, it's just that it was my best subject in Primary School, so I became a bit competitive in it. ARGH. ARRRGGGHHH. Amariah got A2.

AAARRRGGGGHHHH.

Ok, we'll officially be getting our report cards by about Wednesday. Wahliao.

I still need to know my overall marks for History and Literature.

Ok, must relax. This is the last week of the Semester, must enjoy it and just work harder for the second semester.

RIGHT?

Must change topic. Has anyone seen last night's episode of Ugly Betty? Man, I love that show. SPOILER ALERT.

Sofia faked her engagement to Daniel... and broke up with him on LIVE TV. Wow, even though he kind of deserved it, it was kind of mean.

I don't see a lot of people making straw hearts anymore. =x Last week, almost ALL the girls in 1-Truth were making some.

BTW, Ms Kiew and Ms Lan are officially going to leave us after this week.

Good luck to Ms Kiew on going to University! I don't know where Ms Lan is going, though but still, good luck! Which reminds me! Ms Kwang will also be starting Uni! She got in NUS! Wooooaaaahhh...

Ok, I am starting to get bored. Note to self : Must, MUST improve English during June holidays! Must read a TON of books!

Ooh June holidays, my parents say we won't be going overseas anymore, maybe we'll just go on cruise! Yay! I have never been on cruise before!

I really can't wait for GB camp... I wonder what we're going to do there...

Hallelujah.
I'm back, finally.

Although I hardly doubt anyone will miss me even if I don't post anything for a couple of days.

Let's see what's been happening lately...

Monday - Ms Oon asked me to play the "Month of Maying" song using the keyboard in front of the whole class. I was kind of nervous because I have absolutely no piano experience in my life... Lucky I didn't sound horrible.

Tuesday - I can't remember and I don't really care.

Wednesday - Skipped PE because of my flu and my bruised knee. I watched the rest of 1-Truth come up with interesting balancing poses. After I got bored watching, I practiced playing the piano with Dorin. Haha... I practiced the "Month of Maying" song again. Lame. After school, we had DEBATE CLINIC!!! Yay! I lurve the ACJC Debate Club. They're so fun! At first I debated with Veno, then with Clara. Clara was making everything way dramatic which made everyone in my group laugh. LOLS.

Thursday - After I arrived at school, Yong told us a shocking discovery of hers. After 13 years of her life, she finally found out the "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "The Alphabet Song" has the same tune. =.=" Just for more info if Yong is reading this, "Baa Baa Black Sheep" has the same tune as both songs too. And a lot of other Nursery Rhymes. After that, I also found out my D & T overall, Science overall and Geography common test marks. Not bad, I guess.

Friday - I was almost going to die of anxiety over my Literature marks. Thank God I didn't fail... That afternoon, I had a GB meeting. The attendance was poor but it was still very very fun. Especially Badgework!!! Sergeant Kwang was really nice and fun, Jie Ying, Felicia and Rachel were fighting over the cushions (we were in the Rated R(A) room in the library, the name is so ironic.) Yong and Hui Ting were doing the same thing and it was pure chaos. That's what I like about GB!!! Everyone can be a little siao... YAY US!!! Which reminds me... Jie Ying did this really funny thing with the bear-shaped cushion... WAHLIAO, WE WERE DYING OF LAUGHTER!

Saturday - Today, I'm so bored. Bored bored bored bored bored. Let me guess, I'm inflicting boredom over your enjoyable little lives. Lucky you.

Perfect Monday Morning. A bigger lie hasn't even been made yet.
Seriously. What the heck is happening to me?

I just got back my English Comprehension Paper back and my scores were absolutely horrendous.

I can find a number of reasons why this happened. First of all, I didn't study. Thus the super-duper sucky results. Secondly, I don't know HOW to study for English. I know the basic stuff like grammar. My vocabulary is so-so and I hardly had any spelling mistakes in my whole life. Last time in Primary School, English used to be my best subject. And now, it's my worst (so far, I have a feeling Lit. and History are going to be much worse) I did well in my Primary School English papers - not trying to boast but I got an A most of the time - but I did sort of suck at Comprehension Open-Ended questions. I can suck at explaining, be it History or English or common, everyday conversations with people.

Most of my answers were short and not so detailed, which I have been trying to tell myself for the past few months that what I keep doing is WRONG.

I'm so think-skinned. I won't even listen to myself sometimes, dammit.

And sometimes I even blame my English teacher, Miss Lan. Let's just say that, when I saw some of my other classmate's works which got higher marks than mine, they had grammatical mistakes which should have caused them lesser marks, but instead, Miss Lan didn't even bother to correct them.

Unless she didn't even think of them as errors.

I'm not saying she's a bad teacher. She's just . . . inexperienced. I'm not even bad-mouthing her, okay? She said it herself a couple of months ago.

Hopefully, my compo can still save my Common Test marks.

I like writing compositions, I hate writing comprehensions. I hate myself even more for not being a detailed kind of person. Why can't my answers just be clear and straight-forward?!?!?!??! ARGH. Maybe I've been reading too much fantasy, where the characters and everything else are just too damn myterious.

It can be so frustrating, how little things make big things happen. Like how my personality is, being stubborn can affect my scores.

Like not knowing how to answer simple question can cause you even more marks than the harder questions.

Like something as small as reading a few pages of books a day can make such a big difference to our English.

Like playing in the rain for a couple of minutes on just one day can give you the cold for weeks.

I guess I learned something today. Little things make even bigger things happen. And if I learn how not to be so darn stubborn, maybe I could actually follow my own advice and do something right from now on.

But things are so much easier said than done.

This is the frustration life gives us, folks. It's a never-ending war with your own indentity

Failure.
Got our Science paper back. Ummm, I didn't fail but I didn't so so perfect either. But the score is still ok, I think.

Tomorrow is the 5 Items Test for PFT. I am SO going to fail Standing Broad Jump. I cannot jump at least 135 cm. I've tried so many times today and I only managed to jump more than 135cm 2 out of 14 tries. I suck at any sport which mainly uses my legs. I hate it man.

I'm gonna fail, I'm gonna fail, I'm gonna fail.

And I have to stay back during the June holidays and re-do everything again and will still fail.

But I cannot stay back!!! I'm going overseas for the school holidays dammit! I hate PFT, I hate PFT, I hate PFT...!

AAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!

haha... lalala~
I haven't posted for quite a long time, eh? Nothing interesting happened anyway...

Sunday : Watched Spiderman 3!!! Yay! It rocked, man. It's now my Favourite Movie for May. And after searching for months, I have finally found what I've been looking for...

Haha!!! The 'Sakura' - flavoured KIT-KAT! I've been looking for this for months!!!

Monday : Sat for the English Papers 1 and 2. I seriously hope I won't fail. Primary school English is just soooo different from Secondary school English. After the test... I jumped around the whole house because CA1 is officially over!

Tuesday : 2.4 KM running test! Pass pass pass! Yay!

Wednesday : Freakin' bored... sec 1s stayed in their homerooms all day. It was BORING. B-O-R-I-N-G. Nothing else to do except chat with the other people. But we also got out Maths papers back!

What else to talk about? Oh yeah... Some of my friends were all discussing about our teachers. Haha, let's just say we all had something bad to say about them, no offence. Won't post them up here though, I don't wanna be expelled.

- nadine.

YAY!!!
YAY! YAY! YAY!

CA1 IS FINISHING!!! YES YES YES!!!

Only English Paper 1 and 2 left on Monday. Whoo ... big relief. So far, the exams have been average, I guess. But people keep saying the Chinese paper was tough ... I wouldn't know because I'm not Chinese. Duh.

Anyways, today we just had our Literature and Science papers. I was so worried, you know! I thought they were going to test us until Chapter 10 for Science when it's only until Chapter 9 =.="

And today, Bleach Episode 124 is finally subbed! Whoo~~~ ! Yay! GO ICHIGO! But haven't seen so much of Rukia. Waaah. I badly, BADLY want to see the Bleach Movie! When the hell are they going to sell it on DVD with English Subtitles?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!? I freakin' wanna buy it. I wanna, I wanna, I wanna buy it!!!(I sound like a spoilt brat right now but I don't give a damn.) I wanna see who this "Senna" - person in the movie is... she and Ichigo looks close, sia. NOOOOOO~~~ I want him to be with Rukia, dammit. Even though both Orihime and Senna look good with him too... Waaaah. Confusing.

But Ishida and Orihime look kinda cute together too. Haha... For those who dunno what I'm talking about, then don't read... :P

I've been addicted to Bleach. I like it even more than Tsubasa Chronicles and HOLiC, nowadays. Which reminds me ... when's the next season going to be?! But the manga (comic) is way, way cooler though.

And Ouran High School Host Club! Clara told me long long ago that there won't be a second season. Whoever thought of that idea is a freak.

Ok. I'm bored now.

Got nothing else to say, actually, so I guess I'll stop here...
