Sigh. Four more days...
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 30 2008

Jacob: "I'll kill you myself! I'll do it now!"

My first thought: Ew, he really does come back.

Second thought: Well, duh. Of course he'll come back.

Third thought: This guy better not be talking to Edward or I'll curse Jacob and cross out everything that has something to do with Jacob in my Twilight books.

Fourth thought: Or maybe... He's talking to his pack, telling them them not to kill the Cullens and Bella if the latter gets turned into a vamp. You know, since there's a treaty and all.

Fifth thought: :O Dammit, four more freakin' days instead of two!

So yeah, that was how I contemplated the whole thing once Dorna sent me an SMS of the quote.

Tomorrow's officially the day we sit for our Language Arts CA2. Gah, that sucks. Today I got back my English essay for "Pieces of Silver" and there were lots of angry little red markings on it made by Ms Wong. Yes, she's passionate about marking. She almost had a heart attack marking 2-Truth's papers. That's what she said, anyway. I didn't get bad marks, just that she told me to improve on my grammar. I keep forgetting that we always have to write in past tense! Ugh.

And tomorrow, it's also Ms Chye's last day teaching in KCP. Actually, I hope that she'll come back, since she's only going away for further studies. Jiayou, Ms Chye!

And jiayou for all those who are sitting through their tests tomorrow too! :D

Oooh.
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 29 2008

Carlisle: "I've seen vampire venom work miracles, but there are conditions that even venom cannot overcome."

Oooh, interesting. Just a couple more days everyone! :D

What does it mean?!
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 28 2008

Seth: "You'll hurt her. Let her go."

OMG, WHATTHEHELLDOESTHATQUOTEMEANANDWHOISSETHSAYINGITTO?!

omg.

I'm hyperventilating now...

I certainly hope that that quote isn't for Edward. I'm hoping a thousand times stronger that that quote isn't about Bella. I'll probably lack sleep tonight because of this.

T_T

Dammit, SIXMOREFREAKIN'DAYS!!!

ZOMG!!!
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 27 2008

Jasper: "I can't understand. I can't bear this."

Can't understand what?! TELL ME, DAMMIT!!!

Relax Nadine. Just one more week.

Anyway, BIG, BIG news for those waiting anxiously for Breaking Dawn. If you go to www.ew.com (Entertainment Weekly Website) Stephenie Meyer actually agreed for them to post a HUGE spoiler from BD.

HUMONGOUS SPOILER ALERT! PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT ANY SPOILERS!

Copy and paste the text below, okies? :D

Okay, here it is:

Sorry Team Jacob, you've fought a great war but Team Edward dominates the battlefield.

Okay, what does that mean? It means Bella definitely, surely and absolutely ends up with Edward. Too bad, Jake.

Buuuuutttt.... The wedding scene is only at the beginning of the book. There's a hell lot more coming in the middle and the end.

END SPOILER.

Gah, SMeyer. The suspense. You're trying to kill me here.

Anyway, today Miss Wong, Mr Koh and Mrs Chan did this hilarious skit promotong good english. Haha, Mrs Chan's Indonesian accent is damn funny.

And today, me and Sharon also went for to Ngee Ann Poly to check out their Media Film Studies block. It was super, super cool. They took us to this recording studio, a preview theatre, a huge room with lots and lots of cameras suspended on the ceiling and all those "camera on wheels" which they use for Hollywood blockbusters. Actually, the whole room looked like a movie set minus the backdrop. I'm definitely VERY interesting in taking Media Studies next year :D

Problem is, no one's taking it with me since Sharon's not so sure if she wants to.

But no pressure, shouldn't let a chance fly by, right?

And Clara invited me for a Japanese festival at some Japanese Primary School or something! That is so freakin' cool. I want to buy a Yukata. Or a Kimono. And I don't even know what the difference between these two are...

Oh I just checked. Kimono is formal and traditionally made of silk, while a yukata is informal and is made of only cotton which are suitable for summertime. Thanks for the invite Clara!

Haha, I shall end this with a reminder:

SEVEN MORE DAYS TILL BREAKING DAWN!

eight more freakin' days.
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 27 2008

"Rosalie: “I'd like to beat you dead.”"

Any Twilighter hoping for a Rose/Tanya catfight? I DO!

By the way, for those who bought yesterday's Straits Times, did anyone notice anything on the LIFE! section?

A Twilight Article! Yay!

Haha, if anyone wants to see it, just tell me cos I have it cut and laminated and everything.

Just kidding. I didn't laminate it, unfortunately.

And also, I'm trying out livejournal. Since, I want a place to put my little experiments on Photoshop, I've created one. But so far, I've only created one entry with about 17 icons, I think. For those with LJ, can add me (:

http://violette-traume.livejournal.com/

Videos at the Comic Con where the Twilight cast, director and Stepehenie Meyer appeared. I SCREAMED AS MUCH AS THE FANS DID WHILE I WAS WATCHING THESE.

Twilight. The best thing ever.

darn.
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 25 2008

Sam: "This is not something our treaty anticipated. This is a danger to every human in the area."

Wow.

(x100000000)

Breaking Dawn is gonna be epic.

Drill again for GB today. I'm all "drilled-out", if you understand my slang.

But I loved badgework. Miss Foo gave us all a piece of drawing block and we wrote our name on it decoratively and after that, we all wrote something positive about each other on that piece of drawing block. This is apparently to teach us that no matter how many bad habits we have or even if we think that we're not good enough or pretty enough or whatever, there are still people who still think that you're great no matter what you feel or what you look like.

(:

But drill was stress. And now, we know that there's a theory test on drill too.

We can't even belok properly. Sigh. We keep wheeling. Sigh.

I really do not want to fail Drill Stage One. It just shows how noob I really am for drill. Yikes.

>_<

like, woah.
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 24 2008

Edward: "You look so guilty——like you've committed a crime."

OMG, liek woahzz.

o_o

I'm speaking leet. Woahzz.

Today had drilllllll~

Damn tired~~~~~

And I helped Yong's group with their LA project and we chiong-ed like hell so that they could make it for the deadline.

Yay, they did it (:

I need rest. And I still haven't even done GB homework >_<

After drill, ate at Macs with Manju, Felicia and Sharmala. Haha, then the gossip began!

Ew, I sounded so mean.

Nine more days to Breaking Dawn. Nine more days to Breaking Dawn. Nine more days to Breaking Dawn. Nine more days to Breaking Dawn. Nine more days to Breaking Dawn. Nine more days to Breaking Dawn. Nine more days to Breaking Dawn. Nine more days to Breaking Dawn. Nine more days to Breaking Dawn. Nine more days to Breaking Dawn. Nine more days to Breaking Dawn.

Borders better have a copy for me, or I swear I'm gonna scream if I don't have it by August 4.

I'll probably punch someone. Or strangle. Or maybe even stab.

Toodles.

Yay for Rosalie!
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 23 2008

Rosalie: "Over my pile of ashes."

Haha, finally one from Rosalie! I miss her!

No, I'm not crazy just because I miss a fictional character

Today, I had one of the most stressful and funniest moments of my life. For sigle-period PE, Mr Lai made us do this game where we were supposed to be in a team of 5/6 and one has to be a "drawer", not a wardrobe but a person who draws (=___=) and the rest have to be numbered from one to five.

Well, they chose me to be the "drawer" and I have no idea. All I'm good at drawing are lines, with the help of rulers. =___=

Anyway, the numbered people were asked to go outside and look at a picture then they'll describe it to the "drawers". Well, it was damn confusing. Triangles here, face there, lotion here. I kept screaming while drawing because my dearest group members (Yong, Huiting, Manju, Denise and Dorin) were all "Nadine! You drew it wrongly!", "No, no! It's supposed to be the other direction!", "No lah Nadine, the hair is supposed to be bigger and poofier!"

Er, pressure.

Lol. Was having fun anyways even though in the end we didn't win (duh, I suck at drawing). Well, we were supposed to draw an obese woman whose feet were on a weighing scale each.

Apparently, Yong called my drawing "too pretty" for an overweight woman.

Er, LOL.

Art was interesting today. I actually got recognition for once. And all I did was draw straight, slanted whatever lines. In the end, we didn't even have to pass up that 3-D drawing of a room so my efforts accounted to nothing. LOL. Ironic, no?

Then after school, helped Denise, Yong, Huiting, Manju and Dorin with their filming. I think they did a good job. So, me and Sharon went home earlier since we weren't in their group.

When I finally came home, they called me saying that they couldn't connect my handycam to Manju's computer. They all sounded terrified, man! So I just agreed to meet Denise so that she could hand over my handycam and I could extract their clips and send to them.

Jiayou Deli-crats with your project!

(:

Zomg, 11.
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - 22 July 2008

"Edward: “Do you want me to sing to you? I’ll sing all night if it will keep the bad dreams away.”"

*Melts into a puddle of goo*

Yes, this sounds totally cheesy but if it's comes from a fictional character like Edward Cullen, then hell yes I'll turn into a puddle of goo even though it's still kinda cheesy.

Today Ms Wong told the class an urban legend about a demented clown who eats little children and resides here in Potong Pasir.

When I immediately heard that, I started laughing. Haha! What's more is that Ms Wong said that he normally gets his victims near the canal, and guess what, my house is freakin' near the canal!

LOL!

When I came home, I actually slept in the bus and when I finally woke up, I missed the earlier bus stop near my house, so I just boarded off the bus stop that came later, but was quite a distance away from my house, so I walked. It was only a few minutes later that I was walking near the canal! Lol. I'm too engrossed in my iPod to notice any demented clowns around, anyway.
Today we had drill practice. Like woah, we were so damn tired after everything but I know that it really is worth it.

And today, Mrs Chan also told us about the new O level subject coming out next year: Media Studies. Yes, it's very cool. And I definitely want to check it out because it looks less boring to the other book-bound subjects. And besides, being in charge of editing mine, Sharon's and Amariah's media literacy newscasting video, made me acknowledge my "talent" (pffft.) of tinkering with media. Maybe I'm cut out for editing, since I had great fun editing the video and even making and editing the backgrounds I used for the presentation for the English project I did with Yong, Manju and Huiting.

Maybe this is my calling in life? Lol. Yeah, I think I'm mostly sure that I'll only succeed in areas of English or something.

ZOMG, 12 MORE DAYS.
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 21 2008

Renee: "Alice wouldn't let us do anything else. Every time we tried, she all but ripped our throats out."

Haha, Alice is so adorable! This so means that the wedding's on :P

Huiting finally decided to try reading Twilight. Let's see how she'll respond to it...

Memorable Experience,
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 20, 2008

Edward: "Oops."

SQUEAL.

Awwwww, Edward never says 'oops'. What is SMeyer trying to say here?! ZOMG, this is. So. Freakin'. Suspenseful!

LOL.

Stephenie Meyer wasn't kidding when she said she had a twisted sense of humour.

Well, today was such a weird day. Huiting got detention because she came to school late, all because of her bus.

So, after school, all of us accompanied Huiting to the detention room. Then, someone suddenly opened the room and we were all confused why the room was open when there wasn't even any teacher. So me, Sharon, Huiting, Yong, Manju and Dorin went into the room looking around, since, we've never been to a detention room before. Then suddenly Sharon banged on the wall, trying to see how sturdy it is, since she didn't believe that it was really made of cement or something like that. Then Yong started banging it too; to check.

Then suddenly, the vice-principal peeks in. (The detention room is connected to the general office -via window- where, coincidentally, she and several other teachers were having a meeting.)

She scolded us, wanting to know who was the one banging on the window and this managed to go on for several minutes, with us not knowing what she's talking about since no one banged on any window. It was only after those few minutes that Sharon spoke up, saying that she was the one who banged on a wall. She was so pissed at us for denying the truth and with "no one confessing" that she made all of us go for detention.

Erm, so yeah. That's how I got the first detention of my whole entire life.

Uhh, I'm worried that teachers might come to my blog and if I say something too negative or too positive about detention they might rat me out or something.

Soooooo. This is my expression the next time you'll remind me of detention.

*snort* *chokes* *rofl*

And here's another one!
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 19 2008

Alice: "No one will dare to call you plain when I'm through with you."
Bella: "Only because they're afraid you'll suck their blood."

Alice in full force! Whoots!

Yay, only two more weeks!

xDDDDD

haha!
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 18 2008

Bella: "Why am I covered in feathers?"

The phrase "hen night" immediately popped up in my mind after I read this quote. Anyone else? Lol. Other theories include:

  • Wedding Dress (feathers in a wedding dress?!)
  • Pillow Fight
  • And erm, hunting a chicken? (ROFL!)

I'm still pissed off with the fact that Breaking Dawn is released on 4th August in other parts of the world except America. They're getting theirs on 2nd August. Harry Potter 7 was released on the same day EVERYWHERE but they can't do the same for Breaking Dawn? Hello, the Twilight Saga has already beat Harry Potter's boy wizard ass.

No offence to Harry Potter fans. But that was putting it as mildly as I could.

Anyways, we had drill for GB today (finally!) but we were damn tired after that. Since we're having drill test on 1st August, we're all training more than usual, with stricter rules and all that stuff. We were doing drill for about one hour, but I think it was even more than that because we cut into most of the time reserved for recreation. We have less than two weeks to perfect our drill stage one. Jiayou 28th coy!

Tiny yet effective.
Breaking Dawn Quote - July 17, 2008

Edward: “You’re awfully small to be so hugely irritating.”

Anyone betting that he's talking to Alice? Haha, idk. He said almost the same line in the beginning of Eclipse to Alice so that's why I immediately thought of this.

Today we had drill!

And more drill!

Yay.

My legs are aching.

Haha, it was fun though. We learned new stuff!

Then later ate dinner with Bhavna, Jieying and Manju. Bhavna made us play this game where we had to think of 10 names of boys that we knew, 5 names of girls and choose 5 numbers from 1-10. Manju's results were damn funny. It said that Yong and Vito (sp?) were fated to be together.

ROFLMAO.

They hate each other, ya know.

Squee.
Breaking Dawn Quote for 16 July 2008

Charlie: “Bells, we’re up to bat.”

Hm, are they really talking about baseball here? Or some kind of euphemism for "Bella, it's time for you to walk down the aisle now."

Haha, hope so.

Haven't been blogging much about stuff besides Twilight, not that I even want to remember the horrible things that keep happening to me this week. Maths class test was brutal. I swear, graphs will never help me in my whole entire life. Except maybe get a passing grade on that subject. But other than that, I seriously hope that I won't ever need it ever again when I'm working.

Dunno why but I think I'm suffering from low self-esteem these days. Well, with Manju making fun of our, ahem, chest size, it's pretty common already. Aah, tragic.

Not everyone's a C. Deal with it, Manju.

Don't you just hate it when prettier people complain about their face/hair/body or whatever? It makes you feel even lousier. Gah, that's sucky.

Anyways, went on a downloading spree again. Found a bunch of great bands again. Funny how a few months ago, my iTunes library was FULL of female solo singers. Now it's FULL of male rock bands.

I don't like saying the term boy bands because the word gives me the impression of gay, sappy lyrics sung by gay, "I'm-too-pretty-to-be-a-boy-but-seriously-I-still-have-the-Y-chromosome" boys.

  • The Afters
  • Armor for Sleep
  • Brand New
  • Cute is What We Aim For
  • Jack's Mannequin
  • My Favorite Highway
  • Placebo
  • Secondhand Serenade
  • Something Corporate
  • Within Temptation (I think this is the next best thing to Evanescence, if you listen to that genre, but it's not exactly a male rock band since the lead singer's a girl.)
  • Relient K

I'm thinking of buying Coldplay's new album, Viva La Vida. I love Viva La Vida (the song) and Violet Hill. Also, Ashlee Simpson's new CD and probably get more Muse songs. They still rock :D

There are a bunch of other artists I want to list down here but I think I won't have enough space... I'm not even bothering to count how many because I have over 500 songs.

Music is love.

Quotes EGAD!
My computer crashed yesterday, so I wasn't able to post up the Breaking Dawn quote of the day.
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 14 2007

Emmett: "Oooo, scary"

And for 15 July 2007:

Bella: "Jasper? What do vampires do for bachelor parties? You're not taking him to a strip club, are you?"

ZOMG. ROFLMAO.ROFLMAO. ROFLMAO. ROFLMAO. ROFLMAO!!!
Stephenie Meyer's publishing company is trying to kill us by making us wait too long.

Me and Manju just realized that August is going to be a hectic month.

First we have:

  • CA2
  • Breaking Dawn release
  • SingFest
  • National Day (where we have to make human chainlinks around Singapore)
  • I'm finally (finally!!) going to rebond my hair again

Yes, when BD is gonna be released, it'll probably be in the middle of CA2. Sucks, right? And I feel like I'm seriously lagging behind. Everytime class is over, all that's in my mind is like "Oh, over already? Ok."

Yeah, my mind is like an empty vacuum right now with no knowledge whatsoever of what's happening anymore. This proves that I completely lack self-discipline now.

And that's definitely not a good thing, considering I'm having my drill test in a few weeks' time. Yikes.

GASP!!!!!!
Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day - July 13, 2008

Tanya: Ah, Edward. I've missed you.

ZOMGWTF.ZOMGWTF.ZOMGWTF.

OHMYGAWDWHATTHEFU--.

I knew this was gonna happen. But still. WTF!

Hopefully, she'll be bitch-slapped when Bella turns into a vamp and has krazy vamp-ninja moves and strength.

Or something.

But holy crap, I just choked on my air supply when I read this!!

Stephenie Meyer, you rock. You should be crowned queen of the world, then all twilighters shall be your orc army like in Lord of the Rings. Only, you'll be good and the orc army would probably be made of prettier people and your enemies will be made up of people whose lives are empty cos they haven't read Twilight yet.

Boy, that would be sooo interesting.

FASTER LAH, AUGUST!!!

ZOMG, WHAT?!
I should be doing my english homework now, but. Twilight is a hell lot more important.

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

2nd QUOTE OF THE DAY - JULY 12 2008

Bella: “Oh, Mike! How will I go on?”

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is only sarcasm from Bella. I mean, Mike's pretty hopeless.

If you're all wondering why I always post the quotes one day late, it's because Stephenie Meyer normally posts these up at midnight, and midnight at US is when I'm on my bed sound asleep.

Yeah, dreaming of more Twilight, probably.

So, tomorrow's GB day! Yay! We can finally show off our Corporal ranks! Mwahaha.

This is gonna sound so random but I hate my toenails. They always break. Now they're looking like a cross between chewed off or freakishly mutated.

Ugh, I'm exaggerating. But they seriously do not look pretty now. I should be grateful that my nails grow fast, I guess.

Oh, and I finally got my hands on Entertainment Weekly! With the superbly awesome Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on its glorious covers! Of course, there was an article about SMeyer too which was kinda hilarious. But the photos! ZOMG, the photos of the Twilight Cast!

*Is dead again*

It was a good seven bucks well-spent.

Quote of the Day I
Stephenie Meyer is trying to kill tease us Twilighters with little daily quotes from Breaking Dawn until the faithful day that it is released.

QUOTE OF THE DAY; JULY 11, 2008

Alice: "I'll play you for it. Rock, paper, scissors."
Edward: "Why don't you just tell me who wins?"
Alice: "I do. Excellent."

*is dead*

x_X

Be right back from fangirl heaven. Give me 1978937429734054087123875204387 minutes.

Shout!

This is a special shout-out to Yong, Manju and Huiting. Without their wit, humour and intelligence, our LA presentation would have boring, dull and totally uninteresting.

Manju - Did a great job acting as the astrologer. Told you there wasn't any reason to be scared, Manju!!! Your hands were so icy before we were even called to start! Haha, still, awesome job :D

Yong - Without her it wouldn't be as fun and scandalous, man. I guess those in the first few rows would know what I mean ;P And even if she forgot her cue cards, she still remembered her lines perfectly :D

Huiting - Huiting was in charge of logistics, directing, acting as the wife and even helped me out with presenting half the slides (not saying that Yong and Manju didn't help lah, because they still did). And the "alibaba" at the end was hilarious xD

So, now that I think about it, two days to prepare all this isn't really a lot of time. I owe a lot to these great, great, great people for their cooperation and total enthusiasm! And for not letting me get bored during our little "meetings" and providing a lot of fun along the way, like camwhoring, climbing the Eiffel Tower and err... girl talk during meals.

:D

They're at my house! Yay.

Sorry, Yong isn't here cos she went home early T_T

Amazing things that happened when Yong, Huiting and Manju come to my house:

  • Manju ACTUALLY finishes her food. And finishes three servings of my mom's spaghetti.

  • We spoiled my bed three times. Because we flopped, and jumped and whatever.

  • A war between anime incest and anime yaoi begins with Manju on the first corner and Yong on the other corner. Anime incest won cos Yong's yaoi contains a 9 year-old boy who talks, sounds, behaves and dresses like a freakin' girl. Ew. 9 year-old transvestites.

  • We find out that all anime incest stories ALWAYS end up with the "siblings" finding out that they're not really siblings in the first place. WTF.

  • We climbed Potong Pasir's own Eiffel Tower.

  • We completed four slides and a skit full of Banglish for our English presentation. You all should be proud cos we accomplished something epic.

  • Huiting has many potential boyfriends and is a professional heartbreaker.

  • Yong is a love expert.

  • Manju (who has no siblings at all) likes watching anime incest.

  • According to SpongeBob Squarepants, you can get a facial cosmetic surgery by slamming the door unto someone's face.

Youth Day! Celebrate!
Youth day celebrations were today. Gawd, the teachers' skit was damn freakin' hilarious!!

I almost cried laughing! Oh man, oh man, oh man. Remembering it now makes me want to choke in laughter.

It was so hilarious, them acting with funny accents. Then their roles were super duper bizarre. And the plot was even more bizzare. Man, I'll never look at Mr Ho the same way ever, ever again!!! Oh, and I hope they'll do this every year! MWAHAHA!

Miss Debbie Wong's brilliancy in directing is brilliant. Hah.

That's all. I'm still trying to control myself when I try to remember them.

The Big 200.
200th post. Whoots!

Haven't updated for a while. Ever since I relocated my computer, it wasn't able to pick up any network signals so I suffered from Lack Of Internet (yes, it's officially a disease in my encyclopedia) and I wasn't even able to update. Or chat. Or download. Or enjoy life as we know it.

So, today Amariah, Sharon and I started filming for our LA project. Can I just say that it's the most tedious thing I've ever done for a project? Well, it went okay even though Amariah was always laughing nervously before takes. Haha, somehow I think that made me sound sooo... director-y.

We're doing it on the homeroom system so as camerawoman (and director) I have to film a bunch of random people travelling through the corridors. Since we did all our filming after school today, the footage mostly included the upper secondary. But then when they finally found me, they took a detour and avoided me. Hah.

And after the whole thing, I just realised that I accidentally recorded over that footage with new ones. Gaaah. Now I have to suffer through more and more weird looks. Oh, and people would probably avoid me like a plague. Cruel. What happened to cooperation?!

CRUEL.

At least Jieying, Rosalyn, Clara, Meiyi and Bhavna (did I miss anyone?) were kind enough to let me shoot a scene with them. Unfortunately, I have to re-shoot it because there was this extra guy who ruined the whole thing. Gah.

All my accomplishments today just seem to fail at the end. This is probably some cruel test of fate or something.

Grrr.
