EVERRRLAAAAND!
By some strange series of events, Sharon, Amariah, Huiting and I got tickets for the matinee show of Everland. Pictures galore!Sharon. Felicia (Our usher!) Amariah.
Group photo taken by Ong Shijie. His camera phone sucks! Well, started the day by going to the immigrations. Damn bloody long queue. Then after that, met Huiting at City Hall then headed to Marina Square to eat, since we decided to meet Amariah and Sharon at the Raffles Hotel instead. After we ate, we got confused on how to go to Raffles Hotel, asked a security guard somewhere and he gave us directions. Got confused again when we reached Raffles Hotel since we didn't know how to get to the Jubilee Hall. Thank goodness Amariah and Sharon gave us directions. Eating at Subway with Merry Taitai. The toilets at that hotel were so high-class leh. Air conditioned with gold-plated taps! LOL. And we also met Veno there! And Mr Patrick Goh's girlfriend! LOL! Anyway, the production was cute. Quite charming. There was one part where the NPCC cadets were lined up along the aisle, looking like one of those Brtish soldiers with funny, furry hats who never moves. Amariah kept saying hello to this guy who was near our row then we all kept laughing! And of course, he's not supposed to laugh or move but we were all trying to make him laugh. LOL. Sooo, Everland wasn't so bad I guess. I sort of lost respect for Singaporean shows because every single one of the actors speak in obnoxious Singlish. Okay, I don't hate Singlish or anything but the way they talk in the show is really obnoxious. You know when it comes to school events that allows us to doll up however the hell we like, the most common saying from teachers would be "You look so different in your own clothes!" Gah, I'm in love with smoky eye shadow now. Hah, random. |
